We are a CONSERVATIVE EGALITARIAN synagogue serving Franklin Square-West Hempstead, (Long Island), New York, including Floral Park, Garden City, Lynbrook, Malverne, Rockville Centre, Stewart Manor and Valley Stream; as well as Baldwin, Bellerose, Carle Place, Elmont, Hempstead Village, Mineola, New Hyde Park and the surrounding communities. We are centrally and conveniently located in the heart of western Nassau County.
Our synagogue was designed by world-renowned architect Percival Goodman (z"l), and completed in 1958.
Soaring 30 feet high, the breathtaking Belgian stained glass windows in our main sanctuary depict the 12 Tribes of Israel. They were conceived and installed by Albert Wood and Five Sons of Port Washington, NY in June of 1964.
The colorful torah cover pictured above was designed by our congregant Lauren Horowitz. Many of her other beautiful works are displayed in our shul.
